The Stained Glass Lights collection revolves around highly colorful, handmade, mouth blown glass sheets or cylinders. Their color combinations can be determined in advance and the patterns can be influenced during the production process, but never fully controlled, making every piece truly unique. I wanted to create a lighting collection that is bursting with color, lamps in which color is used as a material, so to say. These vibrant lamps can convey a wide range of moods and emotions; the possibilities of expression are endless. It is rare to see this type of glass in big surfaces, as stained-glass studios usually cut it up in small pieces to then reassemble them in stained-glass windows or Tiffany-like lamps. I decided to do the opposite, by creating meticulously crafted lighting pieces that honor this material and let it speak for itself. They are radiating three-dimensional abstract paintings that will add a splash of color and energy to your interior.
